Abstract

Prescribing supportive care medications for cancer patients can present significant challenges for medical oncologists, particularly due to the occurrence of chemotherapy-induced ADRs. To enhance patient care, it is essential to evaluate and prioritize supportive medications based on potential drug-drug interactions. Oncological patients often experience numerous complications, both related to their disease and medication, which can add significant burden to both the patient undergoing therapy and the medical oncologist striving for optimal results. To address these drug-related issues and alleviate this heavy burden, a current study has been conducted to bring them to light. The purpose of this article is to raise awareness in order to improve the quality of life and best outcome for patients.
