Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is a common musculoskeletal condition characterized by persistent pain, limited joint mobility, and decreased quality of life. Kinesio taping (KT), a non-invasive therapeutic approach, has gained attention as a potential method for reducing pain and improving joint functionality. This study evaluates the effectiveness of KT in alleviating pain and enhancing range of motion (ROM) among individuals with KOA. A randomized controlled trial was carried out with 60 KOA patients, divided into two groups: one receiving KT and the other undergoing standard conventional treatment. The results showed that the KT group experienced notably greater pain relief and ROM improvement compared to the control group. These outcomes indicate that KT may serve as a beneficial supplementary treatment in the management of knee osteoarthritis symptoms.
