Abstract

Leflunomide is a medication that is used to treat the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. It is classified as a pyrimidine synthesis inhibitor (DMARD) type of therapy. Additionally, it improves physical functioning, lessen

joint damage, and slows the advancement of disease-related structural damage. The material published in different pharmaceutical publications has been thoroughly studied, and the instrumental analytical techniques created and employed for Leflunomide determination have also been examined. UV-Visible Spectroscopy, RP-HPLC-UV, LC-MS/MS, and UPLC are all included in this review. This article has also covered the use of these techniques for determining the amount of leflunomide in biological samples and pharmaceutical formulations.
