Abstract

Gynecological disorders such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), dysmenorrhea, endometriosis, and infertility significantly impact women’s reproductive health and quality of life. Ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of medicine, offers a holistic approach to managing these conditions through herbal formulations, dietary modifications, and Panchakarma therapies. This review aims to integrate Ayurvedic principles with modern scientific perspectives to explore evidence-based management strategies for gynecological disorders. A comparative analysis of classical Ayurvedic texts and contemporary clinical studies reveals a promising convergence of traditional and modern medical approaches, suggesting the potential of integrative medicine in gynecology.
