The present study aims to analyse the contents of library websites or web pages of the 18 Sanskrit universities in India with library websites. The library websites were thoroughly scanned from October to November 2024 and the study content was categorised into two variables ‘Yes and No’. Collected data were analysed and interpreted through the assessment checklist for the study. It shows that 3 (16.7%) libraries had a separate library website, while the remaining 15 (83.3%) university websites had separate subsites or webpage(s) on their website. It was observed that 33.3% of the university libraries provide Internet and SDI facilities to their users. Two library blogs have been found for university library users. The researcher concluded that the library websites of Sanskrit universities urgently need to be more dynamic and interactive by implementing Web 2.0 or 3.0 technology. The research ends with a proposal for regular assessment studies of these websites to maintain updated information on the websites so that these can satisfy patron expectations and create a digital environment for library services.
