This specific consideration delineates the strategic leadership style of His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minster of Bahrain, during the epidemiological outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. This study is based on systematic literature review (SLR) and it seeks to understand how emergent strategy concepts are integrated with leadership theories in response to the outbreak of the pandemic in Bahrain. The analysis reveals the Crown Prince’s adaptive leadership and dedication to collaborative governance as well as strategic resilience. This analysis gives insights into the leadership that can be helpful for contemporary leaders who need to address and mitigate healthcare emergencies.
