The study aims to explore the impact of leader-member interactions on organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) and task performance, with a specific emphasis on the involvement of middle and senior managers. The research investigates the correlation between leader-member exchange (LMX) and both organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) and Task performance using a survey performed among 462 middle and senior managers. The results highlight the crucial importance of Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) in connecting transformational leadership with Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and task performance. The purpose of this study is to identify the enablers (must-have factors) and enhancers (should-have factors) of OCB and Task Performance. A must-have factor is needed to initialize the effect of independent variables, while a should-have factor enhances the effect. LMX is playing a crucial role in developing OCB with an effect size of 0. 288. The results of the current study are significant for legislators, HR experts, and strategic leaders since they provide insights on how to improve organizational performance.
