Hyperpigmented skin lesions are prevalent dermatological conditions requiring accurate diagnosis through clinical and histopathological evaluation. This study aimed to assess the distribution of pigmented skin lesions based on clinical and histopathological correlation. Conducted at Santosh Medical College and Hospital, Ghaziabad, the study included 65 participants aged 18-65 years. Clinical symptoms like itching (98.5%) and ulceration (30.8%) were documented, while histopathological findings revealed significant associations with hyperkeratosis, acanthosis, and pigment incontinence. The most affected age group was 21-30 years, with no significant gender differences. The study underscores the importance of histopathology as the gold standard for diagnosing pigmented skin lesions, aiding in better treatment outcomes.Downloads
