Abstract

The Srīmad Bhagwad Gītā is a 700-verse Hindu scripture that is a part of the Indian epic Mahabharata. It has been the fountainhead of spiritual inspiration and philosophical insight for generations together. While the world is entering into the digital age, the relevance and application of the teachings of the Gita to contemporary challenges are emerging to be an important area of study. In this age of fast-changing technological advancement and social paradigm, the Srīmad Bhagwad Gītā gives timeless wisdom that enlightens many contemporary challenges.  This research aims to study how the lessons within the Srīmad Bhagwad Gītā can be relevant in solving problems in contemporary society at large in the digital age. The investigation will work on tapping from what the Gītā says about mindfulness, recovered resilience, and ethical ways of living, which would have some positive effect on mental health and well-being in modern society. It also attempts to reveal how the philosophy of the Gītā applied in business to attain leadership and decision-making through ethical eyes. Furthermore, the study investigates the potential of digital platforms in disseminating wisdom of Gītā to a global audience, thereby bridging the gap between ancient wisdom and modern technology. The research also aims to highlight case studies and real-life examples where the teachings of Gītā applied effectively to address contemporary challenges.
