Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of a constitutional homeopathic approach in the management of Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD) through a controlled case study. PCOD, a prevalent endocrine disorder in women, is often associated with irregular menstrual cycles, hormonal imbalances, obesity, and reduced quality of life. Conventional treatments typically focus on symptom management and may not address underlying causes. This study compared outcomes between a group of patients receiving individualized homeopathic remedies and a control group receiving conventional treatment. Results indicate that homeopathy provided significant improvements in menstrual regularity, hormonal levels, body mass index (BMI), and quality of life. Key remedies, including Natrum Muriaticum and Pulsatilla, were especially effective, highlighting the importance of personalized treatment. These findings suggest that constitutional homeopathy may offer a promising, holistic alternative for PCOD management. Further research is recommended to confirm long-term benefits and potential mechanisms.
