Abstract

The United Nations predicts a substantial increase in India's elderly population, from 8% in 2015 to 19% by 2050, highlighting the global trend of population aging. Amidst the multifaceted consequences of aging, edentulousness emerges as a notable concern, persisting among older adults despite a decrease in prevalence over the past decade. This condition, characterized by complete tooth loss, not only triggers physiological bone resorption but also induces various muscular and soft tissue changes, impacting both oral health and overall body posture(1).
