Major depressive disorder (MDD) is a prevalent psychiatric condition characterized by persistent sadness, loss of interest, and functional impairment. This report describes a 25-year-old woman with MDD, no history of bereavement, and intolerance to conventional antidepressants. Individualized homoeopathic treatment with Natrum muriaticum in fifty-millesimal potencies was selected after detailed repertorization using the Synthesis Repertory. Six follow-ups at approximately 15-day intervals, the patient exhibited phases of symptom aggravation and improvement before sustained remission. Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HDRS17) scores improved from 24 to 5. This case highlights the dynamic response pattern possible with LM potencies and the broader mental–emotional applicability of Natrum muriaticum.
