Growing expansion of technology has shown that gaming and use of interactive learning devices like clickers improve learning outcomes and student satisfaction greatly. Positive academic achievement contributes to higher levels of student satisfaction. This study aimed to find the relationship between academic achievement and student satisfaction among nursing students in three different groups using clickers, gaming and conventional teaching respectively. Quantitative approach was employed and an experimental design was used. One hundred students in second year of General Nursing and Midwifery programme were randomly allocated to three groups. The first group used clickers, second group had games and the third group was the control group and had standard teaching method. Data collection was done over a period of three weeks. The intervention was provided by the principal investigator in different classrooms and at different time periods on the same day on the same topic. The instruments included a written objective type test and a student satisfaction scale. The instruments were investigator prepared and validated. In all the three groups there was a positive correlation between academic achievement and satisfaction of the students. There is a statistically significant positive correlation between knowledge and satisfaction in games group (r= 0.349, p=.043) which is evident that their satisfaction is improved when interactive technology is used.
