.Abstract
Flow cytometry has emerged as an indispensable tool in biomedical research and clinical diagnostics, particularly in immunology, oncology, and cell biology. Its application in oral pathophysiology, however, is a relatively underexplored domain that holds significant promise. This review highlights the utility of flow cytometry in analyzing cellular and molecular dynamics underlying various oral diseases, including oral cancer, periodontal diseases, and autoimmune conditions affecting the oral cavity. We discuss its role in identifying biomarkers, understanding immune responses, and elucidating pathogenic mechanisms, emphasizing its potential to enhance diagnostic accuracy and therapeutic interventions in oral health sciences.
