Background: On the other hand, a woman is considered to have an irregular menstrual cycle if her period lasts for more than 35 days but for less than 21 days, and if her blood flow is either exceptionally low or excessively high. The percentage of women who report experiencing menstrual cramps changes dramatically from one location of the world to another throughout the whole planet. If you have irregular menstruation, it might be due to fluctuations in the levels of progesterone and estrogen in your body.
Materials and Methods: Through the use of narrative diary entries and in-person interviews, the presence of symptoms and the severity of those symptoms were evaluated on a daily basis for three menstrual cycles simultaneously. For the purpose of this prospective research, a woman who was 32 years old and in excellent health was recruited. She had a well-established case of premenstrual syndrome (PMS). Due to the fact that she had never used hormones or any other form of medication, she did not have any problems with her mental health. Her symptoms included gastritis, weight gain, inadequate menstrual flow, delayed menstruation after menarche, and the growth of facial hair. She also had complications during menstruation.
Results: When it comes to accurately predicting symptoms from one cycle to the next, the use of Ayurvedic medicine has shown to be highly beneficial. The majority of symptoms, including dyspepsia, facial hair growth, and weight gain, have shown considerable improvement. Other symptoms include menstruation that is erratic or nonexistent.
Conclusion:
Based on the findings, it was shown that the symptoms of irregular menstruation were much more prevalent than those of other menstrual illnesses. The findings of the study indicated that ayurvedic medication was associated with anomalies of varying degrees during that period of time. This particular incident demonstrates that non-invasive, low-cost Ayurvedic treatment has the ability to rectify irregular menstruation provided it is followed up on and monitored appropriately.
