Abstract
The Bhil tribe, one of the largest indigenous communities in India, has been practicing traditional medicine for centuries. Their knowledge of medicinal plants and natural remedies provides valuable insight into alternative healthcare systems. This research paper examines the ethnomedicinal practices of the Bhil tribe in Jhabua district, Madhya Pradesh, highlighting their use of plant-based treatments for various ailments. The study also discusses the socio-cultural importance of traditional medicine and the challenges posed by modernization. The findings contribute to the documentation of indigenous knowledge and support the integration of traditional and modern healthcare approaches.
