Abstract
This research paper examines the prevalence, patterns, and effects of physical and mental abuse among men and women in Gujarat, India. Through a gender-sensitive lens, the study explores the socio-cultural, economic, and psychological factors that contribute to abuse, highlighting key differences and similarities in experiences across genders. By employing both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, this research provides a comprehensive understanding of the issue and offers actionable recommendations for addressing gender-based violence and abuse in the region.
