Job Satisfaction Among Government And Private College Teachers In Delhi NCR: A Comparative Analysis

Abstract

Education is essential for each and every dimension of life. Teachers are the key who disseminate the knowledge. They carry the responsibility of building the nation and its youth on their shoulder. Therefore it becomes important that they must be satisfied with their job, in order to perform better. Many studies evaluated the role of teacher in student’s achievement. It is found that teacher play a major role in student’s performance.  Current study aims to find out the level of job satisfaction among teachers in higher education and determine the intriguing role of nature of college and gender upon job satisfaction in Delhi NCR region
