Abstract
Depression existence a state of sadness may be defined as a neurotic disorder characterized by mental and functional activity, reduction in activity effort in thinking, loss of concentration, agitations in appetite, sleeping, and feelings of sadness, impossibility and generation of suicidal tendencies. It is a common and recurrent disorder causing significant morbidity and mortality worldwide. The antidepressant complexes used against depression are reported to be used also for treating pain, anxiety syndromes etc. They have been grouped in five different categories such as Tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs), Selective serotonin-reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), Serotonin-nor epinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) and Non-TCA antidepressants based on their mode of action. Most of the antidepressants have been reported to possess adverse effects on the well-being of operators. The present review article efforts on an updated current of antidepressants, their mechanism of actions, pathophysiology of these compounds, their side effects and the strategies to contest the drug induced toxicity. Albizia lebbeck (L.) Benth is an significant traditional tree found throughout India. All part of this tree is considered as popular medication and used for treatment of various disease. Present investigate effort was supported out to identify the bioactive compound by phytochemical screening and to evaluate anti-inflammatory potential of aqueous leaf extract of A. lebbeck. The phytochemical transmission of the leaf of A. lebbeck shows the presence of alkaloid, flavonoid, tannin, phenol, saponin, glycoside and free amino acid.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
