Abstract

Every female has menstruation naturally, from adolescence until menopause. Any irregularity in the menstrual cycle has the potential to negatively impact a person's physical and mental well-being negatively, thereby lowering women's quality of life. The frequency of irregular periods varies from 5% to 35.6% depending on age, occupation, and nation of residence. Menstrual disorders are described as an irregular period of menstruation. The use of contraceptives, being underweight or obese, smoking, and reproductive factors are responsible for irregular menstruation because of causes of obesity, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, PCOS, infertility, etc. Practicing yoga successfully gets actual strength, mental equilibrium, and profound development. Different studies have ascertained that Surya Namaskara can bring a productive psychological and physical health conversion by maintaining the adrenal-hypothalamic system, lowering corticosteroids, maintaining the sympathetic nervous system, and enhancing immunity. This paper attempts to explain the effects of Surya Namaskara on menstrual disorders.
