Abstract
For any community development, maternal health plays an important role which is affected with different socio-economic environments. Location, region, space, environment, awareness are majorly affect their health, besides they depend on preventive care as well as delivery, postpartum care, parity and number of missed abortions and miscarriages in reproductive groups in a cumulative manner to maintain or neglect their wellbeing. Present paper discusses the prenatal care utilization among mothers and socio-economic disparities in case of rural Haryana in NCR and non-NCR. The study is primarily based on primary data collected through household survey in eight villages spread over eight high and low female literacy blocks in four districts in NCR and non-NCR Haryana with a total of 488 households of reproductive age-group women (15-49 age-group) selected by stratified random sampling. The study findings suggest that health have improved with and among improving educational status of mothers and with improving the utilization of pre natal care in study area. The mothers from privileged social group, high income and education are better placed as compared to lowered ones.
