Abstract

Essential hypertension, also known as primary hypertension, is a prevalent cardiovascular condition characterized by persistently elevated blood pressure without a clear secondary cause. It affects approximately one in three adults globally and is a significant risk factor for cardiovascular diseases, including heart attack, stroke, and kidney failure. The etiology of essential hypertension is multifactorial, involving a complex interplay of genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors. Key contributors include obesity, high sodium intake, physical inactivity, and stress. Despite extensive research, the exact mechanisms remain incompletely understood. Management strategies focus on lifestyle modifications and pharmacotherapy, aiming to reduce blood pressure and mitigate associated health risks.  Effective management of essential hypertension is crucial for improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare burdens worldwide. Homeopathy offers a holistic approach to managing this condition, emphasizing individualized treatment based on the patient’s unique symptoms, constitution, and lifestyle factors. Remedies are selected to stimulate the body’s innate healing processes, addressing not only the physical symptoms but also emotional and psychological dimensions. This article explores the principles of homeopathic treatment for essential hypertension, highlighting its potential role in a comprehensive care strategy for managing this widespread condition.
