Abstract

This article examines modern strategies for integrating evidence-based medicine and Ayurveda. One of the fundamental elements that contributes to both social and physical well-being is mental health, which is an essential component of overall health. According to the W.H.O., health is a condition of total physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being rather than just the absence of illness or infirmity and the capacity to lead a productive social and economic life, which is in line with the traditional definition provided by yoga. Health (Swasthya) is defined as the balance of Dosas, Dhatus, Agnis, and Malas as well as mental and spiritual well-being. Western medicine has also recently begun to emphasize these health-related factors. As a result, mental clarity and emotional regulation are components of well health. It implies that the body and mind should function effectively and in unison. Additionally, it emphasizes the importance of preventive and well-being, stress-reduction strategies, seasonal patterns, and lifestyle choices in fostering resilience and equilibrium. Particular Ayurvedic methods for treating mental health issues, including as anxiety, stress, depression, and sleeplessness, are discussed. These methods provide helpful advice for people looking for all-encompassing answers to their particular problems. We will talk about it in this paper. A Study of the Latest Research on Ayurvedic Treatments for Mental Health and Their Prospects.
