Turkiye adopted “Turkiye Century Education Model” in 2024 and organized its curriculum according to this model to make innovations and reforms in education system. In this model, the focus is on the learner and the personal qualities they need are addressed in a holistic framework. In this study, the primary school mother tongue curriculum developed within the framework of the model in question was examined within the framework of the 2030 competencies specified by the OECD. In the study, the curriculum was analyzed according to the knowledge, skills and attitudes specified by the OECD as needed by the students. In this study, which is an example of qualitative research, the data were examined according to the document analysis technique and presented systematically according to the research questions. It was concluded that visual literacy, communication and respect were the most included competencies in the Turkish mother tongue education program, while empathy was the least included competency. However, it was determined that approximately half of the OECD 2030 competencies were not included in the curriculum.
